The SOX offense exploded today; fortunately, no one was injured. More news at 11.

Rafael D did get his shot and a couple of RBI's. Jansen gets his work in , Grissom got the hit when it was needed, as did Cedanne . Criswell continued the effective starting pitching albeit for only 4.1 . Still better than last year's #5 pitchers

 

Nice team win to end Twins streak and start their own. Way to go Bellhorn !

Had the same feeling, especially pitching Criswell vs Ryan. The slow bats over the past few days was not encouraging but the guys played well and won . Encouraging.

Pretty sure the errors on the base paths are related to Cora telling the team to be more aggressive, which would make sense given the lackluster performance from the offense so far. If they weren’t, I’d expect more benchings.

 

And if Cora didn’t tell this team to be more aggressive on the base paths, what the Hell is he waiting for?

Cora was pissed when Casas tried stealing. I don't think he was super happy about his catcher going for third. IDK. I didn't see any postgame quotes about it.

He missed a called strike due to the McGuire steal which lead to a longer AB for Rafaela and ultimately a go ahead HR.
