Curry(RH) vs Crawford

Duran(CF)

Devers

O'Neil(LF)

Casas

MASA

Abreu

Valdez

McGuire

Rafaela(SS)

Rafaela at SS. Let's hope he does well today.

Go SOX!

Could Rafaela do worse than what we have been tossing out there so far?

Both starters have been effective so far this year--Curry and Crawford.

Bernardino staying in to pitch the 7th and against righty bat Ramirez who I think swung at a pitch that may have hit him. And he gets his required 3 outs and exits stage right.

Joke of a game. Bats m.i.a again.

You routinely make some of the most unintelligent observations about Sox games.

Both teams have excellent pitching: Sox ERA is 1st in MLB and the Guardians is 4th. So the starters, as expected, pitched shutout ball.

Now Cleveland is up by 2 because they pinch hit after Cora brought in a righty and Brennan, a lefty bat, hit the 2 run dinger off a slider on the 8th pitch which I think he was looking for. Weissert either doesn't have a change-up or didn't feel up to throwing one.

Oh for crying out loud Red Sox. You are already pretty silly this year. No need to knock yourselves silly.

Rafi sort of looks OK....dazed for sure. O'Neill is cut on the head.

Not sure I would let Rafi hit against ML pitching again today looking like he does. O'Neill is down in the clubhouse as it is.

Did O'neil call for that ball on the collision with Devers?

I'm not sure. It did not look like any of then were calling for the ball.

I don't consider that play to be silly. It was an in-between pop with both players trying hard to get it. Why wouldn't we want them to do that? Bumping heads was simply unfortunate.

Butcher Hamilton strikes again......klang.

There has to be somebody somewhere in the Red Sox organization that is a better fielder than Hamilton. Please god get him out of here.

Now those plays were clownish, which are to be expected of both Casas and Abreu.

I would not have expected Casas to make a clean play on that ball. Too much to expect of him and I would not have expected a better throw from Abreu. But the Hamilton KLANG was just too much. Bad throw YES....but Hamilton should have been able to catch that ball.
