Raffy !!!

This could work out. The Jays looked like they were all fat and happy and ready to sweep the Sox out of Rogers. Might be tough for them to buck up and get the job done.

Nahhhhhhh.....what the hell am I talking' about!

Boy that Roger's OF has remained slow as molasses since they replaced it. Does not seem to have gotten a lick quicker.

I remember the first artificial turf baseball parks. The ball just scooted.

And that is that.

So frustrating to watch this game.

We've gotten the first or second man on, every inning. multiple men on base many innings. Men in scoring position with 0, 1 or 2 outs.

We can't buy a key hit.

One swing of the bat by Jay and bam- 2 runs.

Whitlock groves one down the middle !!!

What a ******** loss that was. Chapman should have been rung up on the previous pitch. Springer got the same ******** call in his favour last week and got a GWH. Blue Jays have horseshoe luck.

Except for Martin, Bello, Devers, Turner and a couple others, there's really nobody on this team I'd miss if they weren't here next season. I wouldn't miss Cora either. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

Whitlock hasn't been the same since the starter experiment. I hope he can reset for next year in the bullpen or else that was a cluster f*** of a move

I'm not sure if part of it was the serious injury, but he should know and be told, he will be in the pen 100%, next season.

Let's hope a reset works, because he used to have the nasty stuff needed to be a highly effective RP'er.

No reason to bring back Kenley next season. He'll just have more aches and pains than he did this season.

I'm happy bringing back these guys:

C: Wong

1B: Casas

2B:

SS:

3B: Devers

LF: Abreu

CF: Rafaela

RF: Dugo

DH:

SP: Bello

RP: Jansen, Martin, Houck, Whitlock, Crawford

I'm okay with

C2: McGuire

2B: Urias & Reyes

SS: Story

LF: Duran, Refsnyder (v LHPs ONLY)

DH: Yoshida

SP: Pivetta as the #5 only, Sale as the #6 only

RP: Wink, Schreiber, Bernardino, Murphy, Kelly, Joely

I may be the pink hat optimist, but to me we are three extremely major players away from being a playoff team, assuming normal health:

SP1

SP2

SP4

If we could also add a LH RP'er and RHB OF'er, I'd think we'd be a favorite to make the playoffs. I know, saying "just" 3 major SP'ers away is like asking for the world, but it is only 3 slots.

It’s just a countdown to ending this humiliating season.

On a 6-15 run. Glad to see Cora has these guys finishing up so strong, and on a positive note. Listless, and lifeless. Playoffs? Did someone say playoffs? 2021 seems like such a long time ago.🙈

Lovin it!

But why with the only time of the game with no men on base.

Because the other times he came up he got a base hit, HBP, and two walks?

Outscored 41 to 37 while going 2-7 in our last 9.

This has got to be killing Cora, Turner and the vets and players who gave it their all, this year.

Sad way to end a season, for sure.

Take away that 12 spot, and that 37 is even not as good as it looks.

True. Take away the 13 we let up that game and 28 let up in the other 8 games is not so bad, either.

Sale should be the closer.

It’s Max’s fault with his no name offense.

While it’s certainly best to lose all remaining games it’s obvious that these bums have given up-just playing out the string. They should be giving everything they have every game. That’s not happening. It’s inexcusable.

I was more concerned with the slumber in the lumber than what the pitching had given up.

2-8 in the last ten, which is the worst record in all of MLB.

They are just playing out the string with no emotion or desire. Pathetic excuse for a big market team.
