I woulda left Pivetta in. In fact, I was sure Cora would because his curve ball was breaking bad.

Winck, not so much.

Tying run on 2b and winning run on 1b.

If Winck blows this, I will blame Cora because we saw what he saw, that Pivetta was pitching well to get those 2 outs in the 9th.

I swear Casas looked like he did not know that was the 3d out. Of course, I can certainly think of far worse mistakes.

Great finish by the Sox and sort of by Winck!!!!!!

Casas out there with the game on the line and he has no idea how many outs there are!

I saw that too. OTOH, if you’re going to mess up outs, better to take the under.

Big win. Nice job by Wink and the rest of the BP. It looked like Casas didn't know that was the 3rd out.

Brain dead. The biggest moment of the game and he doesn’t know the number of outs.

You want the drama? You can't handle the drama. Wink was alright; not easy being a closer for the 1st time.

I noticed that also.

Yes, but it cost him, the Sox, and us nothing. In fact, I'm pretty sure the Sox have an end of inning routine in which the guy holding the ball for the last out quickly throws it to someone else and not into the stands or onto the mound or whatever.

Trade him while his stock is highest!

(LOL)

Seriously, though, how low would this place have been had we lost, tonight.

This team seems to come within a loss or two of the whole Nation giving up on them, and then pulls out a game or two, like tonight.

I hope it's not all just one long tease, but I won't be surprised, if it ends up that way.

Wink still stinks. Can’t watch him in high leverage situations.

I would love to disagree, but I can't. Of course, I did watch him tonight. How could I not?

It could have been worse. Casas could have thought it was the 3rd out when it was only the 2nd.

Looks like April Duvall might be back.

Now, let's see some other get into hot streaks like they have shown, before.

Sometimes, it seems contagious.

Let's not forget, Duvall led the league in RBIs, not long ago. This is not fluke. He's not 46 years old, either.
