I said at the trade deadline that they should have traded Paxton for as much as they could get. Dumb to hold on to him. His value then was as high as it was going to get.

Oops! Anyway, considering the s*** defense all season, the injuries to starters and relievers, and the grab bag pick-ups by Bloom, the SOX even being in a PO hunt is a minor miracle.

I believe the SOX are still on the losing end of high-priced FA signings. So many have been a bust.
