Actually, I did expect more runs from the SOX. Still some innings left.

That DP with bases jacked did NOT help.

(Same ole-same ole.)

Rare Day--not only did we get vintage Brasier but Mr. ORT is still on the 26 and serving up his special salad , starting with 2 nice outs

Kaleb actually threw a better inning than any other Sox pitcher. he does have a good FB

Hey, at least he didn’t appear afraid to throw strikes.

This is going to be a long season I am afraid. The pitching staff sucks from the starters to the pen. The Sox have guys on the staff who have no business being in the major leagues.

The pitch clock will shorten the time of games, but it will not shorten a loooong season.

Too early to make that call; early returns are not promising but not enough key precincts are reporting.

The one who generally shows up in game threads when the Sox are losing.

His insight on medical issues is useful and interesting; his game thread contributions are not.

"Hey, guy. Nice shirt. Whaddya do for a living?"

" I'm like in the medical profession."

"Oh that's cool. Kinda hot too. Whaddya do for fun, when you're not out saving lives?"

"I go on sports boards and forums of opposing teams and, you know, 'talk smack' "

"You ..."

"Yeah, 'talking smack' is cool talk, you know, like on talk radio?, for saying negative things to the gerontians and 10-year-olds on the board ..."

"You ... Oh crap. My phone. I think it's my boyfriend calling."

2 for 8 w/RISP. Pitching isn't the only gap in today's game. Also absent----an HR

The MLB avg last year was 253 for RISP.

2/8 = 250 so you can't expect that much better than that when in comes to that

Two years ago, the Sox got swept by the Orioles (for 3 of the Orioles’ 52 wins that year!!) and were outscored 18-5 in the series.

Despite all the white flags after that series, a lot of people did watch the Sox make it to the ALCS that year…

Here's a serious question:

Does James Paxton actually exist?

Only if he falls in a forest (and hurts himself.)

Ah yes, the age old riddle

If a tree falls in the forest, does anyone hear Jim Paxton scream out a sound after it crushes his left arm?

Ort's E.R.A. is 9.00. Better than his spring E.R.A. DFA this guy already. I am going to change the channel anytime he comes in the game. He absolutely sucks and its a disgrace that he is on the 26 man roster. It shows how bad Chaim has screwed up this team with the help of ownership.

That team was MUCH better than this one.

So if the SOX get swept in this opening series by the O's, we should expect making the PO's. Works for me.

Well, if we can't hit very well, nor pitch very well, at least we can play defense, right Kike/Raffy ?

It's early yet, Vegas. Let's see what it looks like after Saturday.

But seriously, let's wait until the end of April. We should have a better feel by then.

Ort did fine for one inning, too.

Maybe the point is that Cora should have only let him go one , but then we wouldn't have seen the reality
