EO does all he can tonight. Now pull him and make a deal before it blows up.

Please realize that if it made sense everyone of the trade baits, including Vaz , could be re-signed during the hot stove league. let the matket dictate their worth.

Gotta hand it to Nate. He isn’t mailing it in even though his team made more brain dead plays. He’s pitching his butt off out there.

He probably wants the heck out of the cellar and figures this is his last/best shot!

I'm predicting Houston will extend VAZ. And even if they don't, I can't see VAZ coming back to Boston, just by what's already been posted.

I need to do some research, but I seriously wonder if Chaim ever played a team sport and won at any level. Has no clue as to building a team. Basically thinks of the players as Legos with certain tendencies and statistical outcomes. Almost an AI approach to physical and mental games. Chaim looks more like a country club golfer or tennis player.

Nerds usually don't play team sports. Their talent is working with numbers. To them players aren't humans, they're part of a numerical equation.

Horrible D by Franchy. He can't play anywhere.

Not playing well behind Nate. Bogie looks disinterested and like you say Franchy is not a defensive outfielder or first baseman.

There are not words to fully describe how bad Cordero sucks either carrying an impotent bat or a useless piece of leather on his off hand.

So with a one run lead Cora keeps Cordero in RF instead of a defensive replacement. Managers can also be traded.

Gotta keep him in there for his elite bat! He is coming off a scorching hot .162 July!

Obviously, I blame Cora more than Cordero.

Impossible, it can't be cora's fault.

Just ask moon, he's the best manager in sox history!

What galls you about this team is that the Sox in effect traded their way here.

- Mookie, gone for Verdugo who is a JAG and trash

- Renfro, gone for JBJ and trash. Renfro is not a god but JBJ is now and never has been more than a late inning replacement. He only made it in the Sox everyday lineup previously because they had enough hitting to carry him....NOT NOW. Plus JBJ is costing them $5M per year more than Renfro cost

- Andrew B, also not a god of a player but what did we get for him?????

- Cordero, what blind f*** thought Cordero could play.....WHERE???? He does not hit...is the second coming of JBJ and oh....can't field either

- why Story and X. It seems to me they have set up moving X. So move him. But of course, they think the fan base won't tolerate moving X and attendance basically sucks

The remainder of the team other than Rafi is effectively a bunch of JAG's. Story is a good player. JD is past it. Put Hernandez, Verdugo, Arroyo, Plowecki and whoever the flying f*** else is on this team in the same boat together and you got a bucket of NOTHING.

It is probably lucky for us that Rafi is on the IL. Given the way this team moves players the logical move for this Sox FO would be ........move Rafi.

And as for the great white hope....Bobby D....forget him. He is the streaky JBJ from the RH side of the plate. Hits horrible mistake pitches really hard but does not get more of them than the average hitter gets. Unless it is an absolutely grooved right to his sweet spot, epic mistake pitch, he ain't hitting it! That said I cannot count the number of guys the Red Sox have moved through their organization over the years that are just like him. Ownership, doesn't matter, GM doesn't matter. Computer system doesn't matter. Red Sox always have a hard on for this sort of player.

Oh and is the farm built yet? Does not look like it to me.

Dodgers can't be too thrilled to see Hader pitching for the Padres.

Dodgers only have a 12 game lead over a team that does not know how to win

They did get Josh Winckowski in Benintendi trade. He has been decent so far and is still young.
