Unreal. Eduardo Rodriguez walks off the field with the head athletic trainer after getting just one out.

 

He had been pitching his normal ok self this season. We'll have to see how serious the injury is. He'd be tied for #1 in fWAR for pitching for the 2022 Sox.

OTOH, Martin Perez. Why can't we get pitchers like that?

Perez is one of those guys you could almost say has had a strange career. He pitches beautifully for stretches and then is horrible for stretches.

 

May is his best month. June and July are his worst. We'll see if that holds true in 2022.

Yes, it's a very small sample to this point. I am sure he is going to regress in the upcoming months.

Left ribcage sprain for ERod. On the 15 day IL. No current timetable for return...

 

He was fairly healthy with the Sox and maybe they were smart not to go long with him.

I don't want to talk about Martin Perez. I don't know how he's doing it.
