All things considered, a good 4th inning by Richards. Two infield singles, then an 9 pitch walk because Candelario fouled off a bunch of pitches. Then the K, then the sac fly, and finally a ground out with a good defensive play by Cordero.

Could have been worse but this offense is dreadful.

Funny thing is that we have been on base a lot of times in last 5 games but we just can’t hit for clutch lately as we used to.

funny how the younger guys can't seem to check swing to save their lives. I don't think I have seen a successful check from Dalbac in a month and Duran can't seem to do it either.

I think Jacko said they messed with Duran’s swing. His swing looks kinda long.

To be fair, Bogaerts is about the only one who can seem to do it.

JD held back, even if he was thinking about chasing. Now Dugo needs to earn his salary, big time for a large hit

Trained by the same great minds that helped Chavis and Dalbec. How did Devers escape the RS system and still be a hitter?

It’s not the Sox system, it’s the overall mindset of baseball today starting in Little League.

Devers is a special talent, but even he is pushing 100 Ks on the year.

The SOX didn't lose a Benintendi, they gained a Verdugo.

I’m wondering if his back is bothering just a bit. Not enough to disable him, but enough to throw him off just a bit.

It’s a shame.

I’d rather contact hitters than sluggers every day of the week.

In today’s game, you might have trouble finding enough to field a full team if you scoured all 30 clubs.

Richards showing no command of the baseball nor strike zone. looks tired at 70 pitches with a sloppy finish to his delivery

Dugo appears to be the type of player who will attract minor injuries for his whole career.

While Richards is not good at all, I’m starting to think that Vazquez has a fair chunk of the blame.
