Who-da-thought with the pitcher batting 9th and Dalbec in the 8 slot, our 8-9 slot would go 3 for 8 with 6 rbi?

You do know that our 8th batters are ranked #1 OPS in that hitting slot in AL. And Dalbec leads the way.

Yes, thanks to your post, earlier.

Acuña showing he is still a rookie. No needed to go for 3.

Sox win a very weird series.

Let’s go!

Wow, after 4 hrs, you get that running blunder by a Brave. I'd be so pissed. Good for us though.

Well, it did take a perfect relay to get him out, so I'd give some credit to the SOX defense, which has been rare of late.

2 exciting wins in Atlanta. On to Kansas City. I will be there Saturday and Sunday. Go Sox.

So we're not going to be in Houston? Just disregard the thread title and enjoy the games.

Was it Jim Kaat of Twins who used to pitch 2 hour games?

Here’s one for you.

May 1, 1920, the Boston Braves and the Brooklyn Robins played to a 1-1 tie in a game that went 26 innings and was called due to darkness.

Pitchers Joe Oeschger and Leon Cadore both went the route in a game that was nearly equivalent to 3 full games and lasted 3:50.

I watched that game on channel 38. I'm really old.
