mvp 78 Community Moderator Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Cora said they were going to work extra hard at fielding this Spring. Whooops.
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 (edited) I forgot to add to my list of s*** that boils my ass that the umpiring now REEKS.....REEKS....worse than ever. Its like all of this crap about better umpiring, better training, better prep is just a fraud. They suck. If the Umps' union hasn't fired Angel yet, it isn't going to fire anyone. SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I think Acuna wears all that day-glo so he won't be hit by a car during the game.
jung Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 If the Umps' union hasn't fired Angel yet, they aren't going to fire anyone. I have seen more make up calls on pitches this year so far than I am used to seeing in a full season of baseball and there is NOTHING I hate worse than make up calls. I hate them worse than the first missed call.
d-money Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 What a s***** L this would be. Need to hold this at 1 run.
moonslav59 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Author Posted June 17, 2021 We're gonna need some more runs.
iortiz Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Chapman about to blow another one btw
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 I've Seen enough of Saw tonight. Bring in Marwin.
d-money Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Get out of the damn inning. Little league baseball by this team right now.
TylerD Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 This is just great, so great Need double digits every night to win unless Nate starts.
jung Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Oh my god what a bad strike call. Why wasn't that one a strike too ump. Vaz caught it. Must be a strike Ball 5 and the BB
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Atlanta is second only to Colorado in feet above sea level, so fly balls really take off there, as Dugo just found out.
d-money Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 A struggle to get out of this inning.
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 This now qualifies as a 'come from behind' win.
jung Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 And the lights go out in the park. Has this not been the least professional season of MLB EVER, at every level? I mean for God sake.
redsoxrules Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 This now qualifies as a 'come from behind' win. For Atlanta yes.
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 For Atlanta yes. So negative.
d-money Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Well cora is playing with fire bringing in this guy i never heard of lol.
d-money Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 9 outs remaining. Need to do something.
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Rios was acquired from Seattle for cash to replace the irreplaceable Ryan Weber.
jung Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Well cora is playing with fire bringing in this guy i never heard of lol. To think there are still 3 more innings to go. Maybe they should treat all games like double headers.....seven inning games. I am not convinced that ML teams can any longer hold up for 162 nine inning games. Squirrels find nuts more than the umps find correct ball/strike calls. They can't pitch. They can't field. Some of them can hit but only some of them and I am not sure MLB administration would not f*** up a wet dream. But all is not lost. The computers are always on.
SPLENDIDSPLINTER Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Besides bunting, sliding feet first has also become a lost art.
jung Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 Its not the first 5 in the Sox batting order. Its these two guys....Xander and Rafi. What a pair.
moonslav59 Old-Timey Member Posted June 17, 2021 Author Posted June 17, 2021 Its not the first 5 in the Sox batting order. Its these two guys....Xander and Rafi. What a pair. In April, it was JD and the other 3. Verdugo has done well every month. Devers & Bogey are el fuego! (Renfroe, too.)
