Great win everybody! Excited to be able to watch the last 2 games of this series

Does that mean you're all moved in? Unfortunately, I will have to DVR tomorrow night's SOX game because the BRUINS are playing the Isles at 7:00PM.

Another nice game.

We hit the ball hard- too many for outs, but I'm hopeful the slump is over.

Nate hung tough, despite some defensive issues.

Devers remains the Yankee killer.

Good to see Marwin do something with the bat.

Keep it going, guys. This is just the right time for a winning stretch!

At this point in the season, who would you pick as the SOX MVP? I would go with Barnes.

A. Barnes

B. JD

C. Devers

D. Perez

E. Bogey

That's a good list, Moon. I'd probably put Devers 2nd and JD 3rd. It's a tough call.

I didn't put them in any particular order... just how they came to me.

I think I'd pick Devers if it was my first pick to start a team out of them all. So I'm going with Devers. But I'd consider Perez closely.

JD gets paid a lot to be a DH.

Bogey is tough though also.

To tough a question to answer right now.

If the SOX FO told the rest of MLB that they could have their pick of any SOX player, I'm pretty sure all would choose Devers. The most amazing thing about Rafi is that he's only 24.

Yes, I've been settled for a few days now. I live 15 minutes (by car) from Fenway, yet I still cannot watch most Sox games, since my cable provider, YouTube TV, dropped NESN over the winter. So, Fox and ESPN games are my only opportunities, since I am blacked out otherwise. Same situation as when I was in CT

Back in the mid 70's when I first got cable, channel 38 was part of the basic cable package. 38 covered all SOX and BRUINS' games. Now I pay for the Extra Innings package.

Tonight I watched the game on espn, but listened on WEEI because I hate TV announcers.

Can't you watch the games on mlb.com?

This game was almost scripted. Eovaldi at his best against a weakish Yankees lineup. Devers with a huge dinger in the first. And pretty good relief pitching. After losing 11 in a row at Yankee Stadium.

Tomorrow the script is reversed, with the Yankees having the pitching advantage--so a win would be even bigger than tonight.

Good news today: pitching was outstanding. Devers goes deep!

Bad news today: marwin is a menace in the field.

He's good in the field. Bad day. He just can't hit so far.

Bad news today: marwin is a menace in the field.

But he is a versatile menace.

Hard to think of Taillon as an advantage, but when you look at ERod's numbers, especially of late, I guess you may have aa point.

This might be an 11-8 game.

Not without an MLB.TV subscription.

But I believe I would be blacked out anyway

Marwin drove in 2 runs and basically gave up 1. That's a plus game.

Which is ridiculous. Rodríguez is a bum right now and all he does is stop any momentum we can pick up. Just surprised that cora keeps starting him.

He's also been surprisingly (to me) good on defense at several positions, this year.

I get being pissed off over the dumb error, but to me, it's more about the guy hitting .550 the whole year and then something like that E makes you think, "WTF!"
