I like how you take things.

If this were the Sox, I would break the TV or something lol

Probably because it's the Twins. They were mathematically due to win a game against us. If we had lost like this to the Sox/Rays/Astros though I'd definitely be enraged.

Severino left his rehab start with a groin injury; it looked like a major injury--he couldn't walk off the field without assistance. A groin injury can be devastating for pitchers. It may be months before he can throw from the mound again and then Severino will need to resume his rehab. I suspect we will not see Severino again until 2022.

That's devastating news for the Yanks.

Although pitching has not been their weakness, this hurts badly.

Tough break.

This guy is done. He is a bruised buttocks away from being the Yankees new Carl Pavano.

Taillon is a shell of what he was prior to TJS. Sevy’s injury hurts. This team showed fight and then laid down in the end. Chap is in one of his rough patches. Just not good baseball being played still

I was allover Taillon, this winter- in a good way.

I can't believe that the Yankees have not made a move to really shake things up. They keep clinging to the mantra that " We have too much talent to keep playing like this ." How long can you keep saying that ?

And, isn't that statement saying something about the manager's ability to get the most out of the talent?

That's why hubris was the most tragic of the Shakespearean flaws.

The Yanks are almost as close to the O's (-11.5) and the Rays (-8.5).

If they keep going 5-13, like they have in their last 18 games, maybe- just maybe...

Without even going into Boone's shortcomings, sometimes you have to make a change to try and shake things up before it's too late. Try to light a fire under the underperforming players. Obviously, Cashman has to be on the line for it too. When you watch a couple of the pitchers he let go , and some of the ones he kept , you have to question his ability to judge talent and potential.

The Yankees should fire Boone and bring back Yankees great Willie Randolph! I liked Randolph as a manager and always believed he didn't get a fair shot with the Mets. He was fired by that dummy Omar Minaya.

Boone is a players manager who won’t call anyone out. We still need a player’s manager, we just need one who will call a guy out if needed and also knows how to manage a pen

I have to say I was impressed with Chapnan in this one. Second and third no out, it looked like he was going to blow another one, but he kept his cool, and was even smiling after the play Vlad got thrown out on.

The team responded for two games after the hottest heat was put on their manager. Call it coincidence, rising to the occasion, or dumb luck. Who knows. They need to go on a tear

I think they just got lucky last night. Jays are leaving on a lot of men on base right now, due to the mistakes they always make on the bases, not too dissimilar from the Yankees. This weekend will be interesting against the A's, now that Yankee Stadium is going to full capacity
