Oh, that shouldn’t be a problem at all for an everyday player. Because swinging a bat, running and throwing a ball doesn’t put any stress on the back. And let’s not forget how well Clay Buchholz bounced back to have a long durable career after the stress fracture in his back healed.

Laugh now but I would wait until this all plays out before I would dismiss it so lightly. Most stress fractures reportedly clear up in 6 to 8 weeks. This guy was injured back in August.

You would want to know how the fracture happened so you do not do again what caused it the first place. Secondly like I wrote before most stress fractures clear up in 6 to 8 weeks was injured in August. Thirdly the Sox medical staff has never misdiagnosed any player in the past no never not one no never. Yah right.
