I’m eating a spicy perogie pizza. My stomach is not doing great things again.

You mean a spicy pierogi pizza?

How does that even work?

A pizza with pierogi’s for the topping?

Well the good news Is Porcello is averaging 15 pitches an inning tonight and could go 7. The bad news is he still gave up 5 runs.

The skin is mad of it. Not sure how it’s done. But it’s from Western Pizza and it’s a layer over the crust. It’s so good. And somehow they add something to make it spicy. Delicious. But always has me in the bathroom lol

Rick has to reinvent a way to get through innings every single game he pitches and that is a horrible way to have to pitch. I am actually surprised he pulls it off at all. Not to say he pitches well these days. I just can't imagine imploding and reinventing myself every single time I took the mound for a season.

I think the only reason he has any wins is because they usually score a touchdown and kick a F.G. to back him

Well said. Not easy for these pitchers but somehow they manage to do it.

Martinez! 5-2. Hacking away. Slowly but surely.

Wasn't that one of those soft low and away pitches that JD is not supposed to be able to hit?

It was a change up , I think, not a curve ball nor slider which he chases but can't hit. The amazing part is that he wass 100% on his front foot and got it out with a bat flick. Wished he did that more often.

Sogard is a very good ballplayer. Mentally and physically.

i assume the Sox couldn't have used him. He's only screwed them all season long. But our roster is full and there's no room since we need 13 pitchers to get through 9 innings

No, it's the hard low and away pitches.

Ah. I haven't been watching closely enough. I just look at the corner and figure if the ball is there, he's not going to be able to hit it.

Why does Porcello always have to have one ugly inning. He has been pretty solid since. Even the 2 runs he gave up weren’t true end of the world. But that home run sucked to make it 5. He’s been solid since.

I’ve said it before, solo homers usually don’t really hurt you (provided you keep the number allowed reasonable). 3 run homers do. And there was a big of bad luck on it; went right over the foul pole and probably isn’t a homer anywhere else except Fenway.

I was listening to the game until just now. Did Porcello break the monitors in the dugout or something?

? Coming through fine for me.

After the first inning he smashed a couple. Didn’t help him in the second unfortunately.

Yeah.. maybe he should have just stayed in the dugout for the rest of the game.
