What is to wonder about? The Sox were the best team all year and dominated the playoffs. They won the World Series. Remember it and be glad. This year they suck but the two are mutually exclusive. You don't take away anything from last year because of this year's fiasco.

We are some freaking great people we have seen much Joy through this team and much strife but let's all agree this year didn't need to go down like this .I want a serious news conference apolagies to us fans for the mistakes that have been made and I want them fixed immedietly .

The Sox will now have lost every game in their second half schedule, and be up to 3 out of the second WC.

Team wins 108 games one year shouldn't be struggling like this. Yanks won a 100, and they will do it again. You go from one extreme to another, you have to think about it. Just a season that worked. That's all. 2013 like that too.

You can't take anything away from them about last year. There is a lotta' reality in MLB that fans are just not accommodating...like forget dynasties...that is done. Maybe even forget back to back given travel and all the other crap they throw at these guys coupled with the crap from their agents and from themselves. Its not my father's MLB. Heck its not even my MLB anymore.

 

That said, DD has a shelf life and it ain't that long.

I have to be honest. And I think that I speak for all of us here. I am shocked and disappointed that Dombrowski has not made a few moves yet. Ok.. he thought that he could get away with it this year, I get it.. it was a long shot but I get it. But at this point?? This is a broken team with absolutely no shot of winning a post season series. How the f*** is the GM sitting around and letting THIS happen on a consistent basis this year? Get Renfroe, get rid of Benintendi, get two additional arms for the pen. Pick this damn team up off the floor! Because they are not competitive. PERIOD.

I will get flamed for this but I'd waive Barnes and Brasier after tonight I'd promote a couple young arms let them pitch a few games until he trades for a couple arms .The entire team has lost faith in both men time to turn a page and show the team moves are being made to address this
