I have to be honest. And I think that I speak for all of us here. I am shocked and disappointed that Dombrowski has not made a few moves yet. Ok.. he thought that he could get away with it this year, I get it.. it was a long shot but I get it. But at this point?? This is a broken team with absolutely no shot of winning a post season series. How the f*** is the GM sitting around and letting THIS happen on a consistent basis this year? Its not every year that we can measure ourselves v the Yankmees though we tend to do it out of habit. This is one year when we justifiably can and its not a pretty picture. But that is as much for what the Yankmees have done as much as we haven't. IMO, expecting DD to spring for big bucks is likely a pipe dream. Henry is not interested. His money is from the network and the carnival they run at Fenway every game.

 

I suspect Henry is curtailing DD because if the owner doesn't DD will lay waste to the franchise farm system and the budget all at the same time. Its inevitable with DD unless the owner steps in.
