Yeah, you would think the analytic staff could provide data to each player about the optimum dates for conception to have the baby in a non prime month, or during a predicted IL stint in season. Great use of 10 days off.

Regardless, Vazquez is a very good defensive catcher in his own right.

 

It was never a matter of Leon versus Vazquez for me, but a matter of Leon versus Swihart. No contest, and I say that as a Swihart supporter.

Possibly, but it’s not so crazy to think they’d keep him as backup catcher. It’s not like there is another obvious name in the system barking at the door...

After signing that big extension with Sale, I think they'll keep Leon around.

He should make some sort of peace with Vaz because you can't spell Chris without the letters in Christian . Also, Sale may need a Vaz PH Pesky Pole HR to bail out one of his starts with Leon.
