JBJ made 1 simple play last night, that probably got by a lot of people but it saved 1 run. Bases Loaded no Outs, Kemp hit him ball, and he threw to the right base. Going to 3rd on that play, instead of home saved a run, maybe 2. If he went home, the runners would have been at 3rd and 2nd, and Puigs hit probably would have scored 2. Smart baseball wins games. Throwing to the wrong base is a definitely a Beni issue. JBJ and Mookie seem to have much better baseball smarts.

Poor old Jax, he's so conflicted. Would he rather be RIGHT because he picked the Sox to win the WS or would he prefer being HAPPY because he wants the Dodgers to win it all?

Day off, and out of Colder weather, I expect to see him in RF, maybe LF. He played 5 games in RF last year in Dodger Stadium and did OK, so why mess with what makes him more comfortable. Edited October 25, 2018 by OH FOY!

Lmao. I said something similar last night. My girlfriend asked why they are chanting The Yankees. And I said, "Boston just wants them to feel at home in case they are watching this game" lol

As someone observed at the time, he didn't come down with all of his weight on that ankle. I've had ankle injuries that looked similar to what happened and it's nothing that a cold pack and an Ace Bandage wouldn't cure. And he's in a lot better shape than I ever was!!

That was a great 'scramble'! Please don't tell me that these players are only in it for the money. There's a lot of team and personal pride involved in it too.

Agreed. It will be a perfect atmosphere for Sale to dominate. His skinny little body you could tell was impacted from the cold. He will be lights out in game 5. Much like he did against the Yankees when he went 5+ only giving up a run.

I really hope the Red Sox can get an early lead tomorrow night and take the crowd out of it. A win tomorrow will completely deflate the Dodgers and their fans. Go Sox!

What is MLB in it for. Somebody needs to explain to me again why we have to have plastic bases in MLB. Thats what caused JD to turn his ankle. He slipped off that stupid plastic base which has to be roughed up by hand just to be useable at all.
