Charlie Morton is 15-3 this season with a 3.13 ERA, 167 innings, 201 strikeouts with a 1.16 WHIP.

The 201 k's are surprising and impressive.

But yup, he hasn't pitched since 30 Sept. in large part because the Cleveland series ended quickly.

Sacrilege! You can go a night without sleep for this.

Seriously, do you know how late I stayed up as a 10 year old during the 04 ALCS? It was cool my dad was encouraging me to stay up though. Red Sox first, school second!

Your dad knew how to raise a kid!

I've been sick and my closest friend is in the hospital. Last night was the night with no sleep.

Initially the posted lineup for the Astros was completely different from what it is now. Bregman moved to the top of the order. Springer now there to protect Bregman. Gonzalez up in the order now ahead of Gurriel. Very different lineup in an effort to shake Bregman from the Sox plan.

1. Mookie Betts ® RF

2. Andrew Benintendi (L) LF

3. J.D. Martinez ® DH

4. Xander Bogaerts ® SS

5. Rafael Devers (L) 3B

6. Steve Pearce ® 1B

7. Brock Holt (L) 2B

8. Christian Vazquez ® C

9. Jackie Bradley Jr. (L) CF

1. Alex Bregman ® 3B

2. George Springer ® CF

3. Jose Altuve ® DH

4. Marwin Gonzalez (S) 2B

5. Yuli Gurriel ® 1B

6. Josh Reddick (L) RF

7. Carlos Correa ® SS

8. Martin Maldonado ® C

9. Tony Kemp (L) LF

I like your dad.

I am incredibly happy with this 8:40 start as I don’t get off until 8:30. MLB playoff schedule makers have been blessing me with scheduling these games around my work schedule.

OTOH, I much prefer the 5:00 start time of yesterday's game. Tonight's game won't be over before midnight. I have to wake up at 5 a.m.

At his age, he should be able to pull an all nighter with no problem.

Under normal circumstances maybe. But as I alluded to above my life is a mess right now.

I hear you Thunder. I hope you and your friend both get well quickly.

Hasn't been determined yet. Cora is probably waiting to see what happens tonight. Would be either Erod or price on 3 days rest

I would guess E-Rod starts and Price in relief... I think Eovaldi goes in game 7 if necessary.

Those damn dodgers are winning. I can’t stand that team.

I'm not sure that anyone besides Dodgers fans are actually pulling for the Dodgers to win.

AJ saying that he has put Bregman at the top because he should be batting lead off if he is going to take so many walks. That does not compute to me. So you are going to encourage Bregman to walk AJ....really....thats your plan???

Gimpy batting 3rd ahead of Gonzalez who pushes up past Gurriel. Looks kinda' desperate to me though I absolutely believe AJ had to do something.

The brewers can’t hit a lick. I felt they might have lost this series last night.

They've had an incredible home field advantage this postseason. With the last 2 at home, it's not over yet

Can we hit Morton?

Hopefully we get to him early and often. If he gets into a groove, we could be in trouble,

Last time in HOU we destroyed him without Betts.

2 runs in last 21 innings ? That's a slump that will get you dumped.

Pearce has actually been pretty good defensively so far, and his bat has been hot. I’d keep him in the lineup over Moreland. We need to get as many runs as possible as quickly as possible. Their going to come out with a lot of energy, because they can’t go down 3-1. We have to match that and take good at bats every at bat. Go Sox!

Yes, get to him while he's still adjusting to the long layoff.

Heck the Brewers should of been trying to close out the Dodgers last night. They blew game 2 and really blew last night too. With how many chances they had to score. Their getting beat 5-1 now.
