This is bound to piss off many blind Red Sox fans since after beating the Yankees I no longer care what happens the rest of the way. Good luck to the good guys in white and red.

Cora, you are an idiot for going to Kimbrel who only did what he has done before when it counted. Sale had the save nailed.

The offense could not produce a single run since the 4th inning.

Astros will own these guys in the ALCS, but nice to make an appearance. In a 7 game series, you better have 4 starters, Sox are one short.

Cora's not a genius for playing Kinsler and Nunez. But he does generally have sound reasons for what he does. That's about all you can ask from a manager.

Yeah that sure was an exciting way for the series to end, I woke my wife up for sure on that final out. I have no idea why Kimbrell throws so many breaking balls, that 9th inning was torture. But as Mookie says it's what makes this game so much fun.

 

For the first 3 hours of the game I much prefer football to baseball. But the 9th inning of a deciding playoff game provides excitement and drama that is rarely matched in other sports.
