I hope it's one of those Severino games where it causes the annoying Yankee TS posters disappear for awhile after. It's that annoying little brother complex that those fans have. If they want to win a division title, they should petition the commissioner to move them to the AL Central.

Sox have won the division the past 3 years handily and will be the odds on favorite for the forseable future.

 

If you have to look back 20+ years to talk about how great your team is, your team kinda sucks. Any World Series that was won before the time your were a fan doesn't count. Little brother syndrome.

Obviously the Sox have had better regular seasons than the Yankees these past three years. But what did it matter in the end? Nobody remembers the teams that don't at least make it to the WS.

 

Teams like the Braves and Brewers will cherish those division titles since they're pretty rare for them. Our teams aim higher.
