Stop posting nonsense from people like "Colin Linneweber." You might say, well who is Colin Linneweber? Well, let me tell you. Even Colin Linneweber's mom didn't know he wrote that drivel. He's a nobody. Stop.

Luckily my dad was a Yankees fan and not a Mets fan. Otherwise I would always be miserable.

For anyone not raised as a Yankees/Mets fan who has the choice between the two, what sane person would choose the Mets?

im assuming your dad is young enough that the Brooklyn Dodgers had already moved??? nobody from Brooklyn old enough to have had the Brooklyn Dodgers should ever have anything to do with the MFY. IMO.

After all, the Mets chose blue and orange as their team colors to appease the former Brooklyn Dodgers (blue) and NY Giants (orange) fans......

Yes he was born in 1954 in Brooklyn, I think the Dodgers moved a few years later. And since his father was an immigrant who did not know anything about baseball, he had a choice between the Yankees and Mets. Definitely one of his best life choices.

Incorrect fool.

I am from the Arthur Ave section of the Bronx.

How many different posters are you going to accuse of being babe this week?

As I said, that dude really got in your head, do you check your closet for him before going to sleep at night?

So I should stop posting baseball related topics in the general baseball section because you don't like it??!!

Sorry, ain't gonna happen.

It's not breaking any rules and I thought it would be a good topic for debate/discussion.

Any top 25 WS Champs list that doesn't have the 2004 Red Sox listed as #1 isn't worth the time to read.

Well, I can understand you saying that as a Sox fan.

But just looking at the numbers, they didn't have the strongest run differential. I believe that is a pretty telling stat, certainly not the end all - be all though.

It has nothing to do with misremembering, you're just an idiot.

But try to stick to the thread topic ......

If it was the mid 80's, you're definitely choosing the Mets over the Yanks. Some people also just like rooting for an underdog.

And the cheaper tickets.

That is a pretty telling stat, but we all know that it's not all about the stats.
