I want to see Aaron Boone in the fetal position with his thumb in his mouth by the end of this series.

Ha! Love it!

How about if he is just muttering to himself while practicing his imitation swings with a wiffle ball bat?

Chance Adams. Sounds like a lame western from the '60's. Let's hope his 'chances' are slim to none today.

Wonder if Chance is a common name in America. Haven’t heard before.

The Yankees seem to like guys with the names Chance, Chase and Chasen. :P

The once proud Bronx Bombers have promoted a guy with a 3-5 record and 4.50 ERA at AAA to pitch a critical game at Fenway Park. Does any more need to be said ?

Larry King’s last child with his wife (40+ years his Junior) is named Chance. I used to say that there was a slim Chance that it was Larry’s child or that there was a slim Chance that Larry would be alive to see him graduate high school.

Time to put a foot on the throat. Still a little unreal that in the last series at Yankee Stadium Sabathia and Severino were in complete control. The world turned upside down.

Too funny. Booney currently looks like that thumb is firmly up his ass.

Any update on the weather?

Looking at the radar, it looks like it is clear right now. Don't know what condition field is in after 3 hours of rain.

Just finished watching a documentary about Tony Gwynn on MLB. A great ballplayer and an even better human being.

One of my favorites. The Padres don't exactly have the most glorious history and he was the face of the franchise. He took less money to stay in San Diego, that doesn't happen too often.

Chewing tobacco is a killer. He went through a lot of suffering in trying to beat the cancer but then gave up. That's how bad it got.

X back in the lineup today, hopefully with a healthy hand/wrist as opposed to the one he struggled with last year

This is close to the lineup that I predicted last night. My lineup had Pearce in there for another game with Moreland sitting. I wonder why they made that move--JD Martinez fourth in the lineup instead of third?

Flash Flood warnings in and around Boston. I hope the weather clears and that they play today’s game.

My morning started with a tornado warning for UConn
