Not many guys able to play as many games as Martin at 35, catch, play 3rd and the OF all in one season. That is just ridiculous. But the Jays are so screwed up that they toss Martin in at 3rd and OF because there is nothing else they can do. My God that guy deserves a massive bonus this year. No matter what they are paying him, its not enough.

Assuming Lin is still here, this is another example, less than a 4 run lead, even for 1 inning, Cora is not going to up his defense choosing instead to make sure he gives himself every chance to score more runs if he has to do so.

As of right now our SP is third in the league; the Yankees, with an ERA over 4, are in sixth place. Their rotation, aside from Severino, is in shambles. Its not a rotation that will take them far in the playoffs. No doubt they will trade for a decent SP, hopefully at great cost and little reward.
