That's good. I just saw the absurdly low pitch count for a starter going into the 7th and was a bit worried something bad had happened. Glad it was nothing and very happy to see him dominate.

 

TB did the same with Snell who looked great.

I'm good with it too. No need to push the envelope in game 2 of a 162 game season. Let these guys get acclimated & progress from there.

Ok have to throw it out there ....JD Martinez needs to play RF tomorrow right ? With Mookie in CF Benny LEft ??? Mitch playing 1b ??? ....I think this maybe our best lineup with JBJ looking this horrid at the plate .

Two games in a row with great starting pitching. Barnes did his job two days in a row and Kimbrel was overpowering. Bogaerts has been the hitter with several others looking good at the plate. I almost wonder if our 4,5,6,and 7 hitters are superior to our 1,2, 3 hitters. iT LOOKS LIKE A TOUGH LINEUP TO FACE. Have faith, they will get going and soon.

Couldn’t catch the game but it seems like Price is in vintage Price shape.

Price did it with location and varied his pitches. He topped out at 94 mph but rarely got there. More 92 to 93. It was enough because he got away with pitching in on batters.Great job of pitching.

I’m assuming JD doesn’t want to dance when he gets the nod in the OF?

 

I didn’t mind the OF dance after a win. NFL players do a stupid dance after every f***ing down.

It's only one start, but Price's outing is extremely encouraging and exciting.

 

The offense was frustrating last night, but they will be formidable.
