I realize the importance of having him pitch against the Rays, but I would much rather have seen him go tomorrow. In the two series against the White Sox this year, he hasn't pitched. I wanted to see him spank his former team, especially now with this line up after the deadline.

 

May 30th, the Palehose slapped Sale around pretty good. In an eventual 13-7 Red Sox win, Sale threw 111 pitches in only 5 innings, giving up 10 hits and 6 runs (5 earned). It was one of his 2 worst outings of the year, the Cleveland game last Monday being the other.

I found your high heater posts interesting the other night. Mainly because the few days before hand I'd been thinking that I've never seen so many high heaters to chase thown before......... but I also thought it was more throughout the league than just the Sox. We've also seen a ton cause of Sale........ which seems to work........
