That is not it at all. I just don't like posters who make every post about taking on posters instead of talking about baseball (and BTW they usually get their facts wrong about what other posters have said). That doesn't make for good discussion, but thanks for illustrating my point.

For what it's worth, while I don't always agree with your posts, you're one of the best posters on the site; always offering analysis and creating discussion. More people like you are needed, not less.

Gardenhire would be a silly choice - and one of the ones who would not be an improvement on Farrell. I don't think he is actively terrible the way Ausmus was ... but not good either.

We should start a petition to send to DD urging him not to hire Ausmus. He is awful.

Actually, I think Henry Kissinger said something like that: even paranoids have real enemies. And in my case I'm pretty sure I'm one of A700hitter's targets because I can get argumentative as well as longwinded. But moonslav? That's nuts.

 

I'm sorry you don't post here more because I know from BDC days you are excellent.

I don't know enough about anyone here to say I like or dislike anyone.

 

Some posters are harder to get along with, especially those that get personal or misrepresent others' positions.

Based on what little we have to go on, I'd say Kapler would be my first choice, followed by Cora...but my gut is saying DD is thinking Ausmus or Gardenhire. But again, what do I know.
