Why the f*** does Girardi start Tanaka in day games. His ERA is over 15 in Day games

Managers are stubborn f***s, that's for sure.

The best way to get out of an inning against NY is to allow 2nd and 3rd with no outs. This team is awful at situational hitting. A joke

Sounds familiar.

Girardi said the plan is for Frazier to go down when Hicks comes back up. Why the heck would we send down a clutch hitter and guy who's actually hitting well while instead giving playing time to the corpse of Jacoby Ellsbury and Matt Holliday, who's a different player since contracting HIV (or whatever virus he caught which sapped his power)

34% K rate since allstar game

Would the Yanks take Moreland, Holt and Young for this bum?

LOL Jacko.

I thought I read that the Yankees were having second thoughts on sending Frazier down . I bet they find a way not to.

I don't buy that stuff, but man, it does seem to happen a lot!

I think that notion has been debunked too, but it does seem to happen a lot.

Maybe it's becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

If so, I hope Judge thinks about it for the rest of the season.

Clint Frazier is stumbling. His batting average is down to .243. He has 4 walks and 30 strikeouts in 103 at bats. This is all more in line with his minor league numbers. Time to send him down before the Yankees ruin whatever confidence he has left.

I would have traded Frazier, perhaps in a deal for J.Quintana. I think the Yankees will regret acquiring Gray over Quintana. With that said, the Yankees don't beat an offer of Eloy Jimenez without including Torres.

I don't think we will regret Gray vs Quintana. Quintana, while solid, doesn't have front line stuff. Gray does. He did perfectly fine vs a tough Cleveland team.

Getting Quintana without Torres was possible, but we couldn't beat the headliner for sure. Jimenez was a heck of a get for the ChiSox. If their rebuild comes into play and they hit on some of these guys, they will be very interesting for sure. In a short period of time, they brought in Lopez, Giolito, Clarkin, Kopech, Rutherford, Moncada and Jimenez. Clarkin and Giolito have the best floor as a starter while Giolito and Kopech might end up as high end relievers. Moncada and Jimenez are uber talented players capable of being all stars and Rutherford has talent, but hasn't produced yet. I like what they've done. They have more to go with Avisail Garcia, who I expect to be dealt in the offseason. If you blow it up, you might as well blow it up sky high

In terms of the Yankees losing streak, it is what it is. Our offense has gone into a slump and two of our big performers are still on the DL. Frazier has returned to rookie status. Judge is slumping. Todd Frazier has continued to suck. It is strange to see this offense see 18IP 7ER performance over 3 games from our starters and lose all three. This is a young team for sure. This means we have to live with the peaks and valleys. We will see how JMont holds up today in what is likely to be his last start. although I am not holding out hope as we are facing a good Cleveland team at the wrong time for us. We are still tops in the WC for now and 2 back in the L column of the sox. This isn't over for sure

I'd take Quintana over Sale, even if the years and costs were equal.

There's no Shannon Sharpe here to engage your HOTTEST TAKES.

I think we're missing the more important point here- It's been a few pages since anyone said "f*** the Yankees".

I just got into an argument with a douchebag in a Yankees hat (I know, redundant), so I thought I'd mention that.

Did you mean to say Quintana over Sale, or Quintana over Gray?

I thought you were really high on Gray

He was very bad, but he was bad for both sides. Very inconsistent. I'm fine with an ump being a little wide or a little tight, but when you're wide one inning and tight another, you're going to be bad. It's not why we lost. Happy was good and once again we struggled with runners on. CC couldn't keep Donaldson in the park either
