Probably you have an "alternate definition" of stalking than I do, but when someone admit's that they're intentionally 'on my ass', or they "ride people a lot" I'd consider that to be stalking.

I know Steve -- a very nice guy and a very knowledgeable baseball guy. A fun guy with whom to watch a game. Some of us here have known each other for quite a while whether by conversing on the phone or Skype or meeting in person. This is a community in many ways and more than an anonymous message board. I have no problem with that. Actually I'm a pretty easygoing guy. But when a person admits that he's been stalking me and continues to do it I'm going to call him out on it. To do anything else would be condoning it.

Well, Betts is gritty. He also happens to be one of the best players in the game so, no 'Dirt Dog' wouldn't apply to him. He's also too polished. If he was a Dirt Dog at any point, he graduated past Dirt Dog status practically the same day he became one.

 

If JBJ made only 1/3rd of the spectacular plays he makes in the OF, I'd consider him a Dirt Dog. But fortunately, his defense is way too elite for me to label him that.

 

Dirt Dog is a term of endearment, it's not necessarily a compliment.

I can't imagine us being worse defensively or vs LHPs, so the only area we might suffer is on offense vs righties.
