We'll be fine tonight because only two kinds of pitchers give us problems--lefties and righties.

Put Mookie back in the top of that order with Pedroia. Hanley has done extremely well to hit 4th, Xander can slide behind Hanley.

 

I like Betts in 4th because he is good protection for Ortiz batting 3d. Plus he is second on the team in rbi's with 104 and second in dingers with 30. That said, I would not be opposed to moving him back to the top if it will help him snap out of this slump. Ramirez might be hot, but last night he was had in 3 strikes with men on 1st and 3d.

Did Wakefield just say in the pregame about Billy Butler "You don't want any cancers on your club." ?? If I heard that right, then he sounds like a Talk Sox user. This year, I've given up thinking about the past. I don't care how frustrating and stupid some previous games have been. I just want to win right now.

This stuff is too stressful for me. It's almost better when the Sox are completely out of the hunt. The games are so relaxing then. LOL

 

Of course I'm kidding about the Sox being out of it, but I don't know how I'm going to get through the next 2 1/2 weeks.

Yankees love his fastball even more than ERod does--all three hits off that stinking fast ball. Now with the damage done he is throwing breaking balls but none are in the strike zone. Another fastball and a sac fly to CF.

 

This of course also lies at the feet of Leon and the pitching coach. They all love his fastball way too much.

Where the hell is the No. 3 starter going to come from? Back to Spahm, Sain, etc. We have no etc.

 

Wright unlikely to come back.

Do you want Henry Owens to pitch over Erod or Buchholz.. Pomeranz is the #3 starter.
