I too would love Encarnacion, he is already a great hitter and would kill at Fenway. I hope Pablo doesn't keep the Sox from pursuing him.

I don't really understand what the obsession with Ramirez is. It seems like every time he's up he's either not used because he sucks or he comes in and has a horrible performance. Makes you wonder why he's even being called up all the time..

People keep talking about this road trip... but the competition isn't that great. The Angels are bad. The Mariners aren't anything special. The Dodgers rotation is down Kershaw and Ryu.

Sox have 3 players who have hit 3 home runs in a game. Hard to believe none of them is named Ortiz.

 

Betts and Pedroia are the others on the roster who have done it.

 

Probably because most teams will pitch around or walk Ortiz once he's already hit two. No one wants to f*** with that.
