I was at work and just got off, looks like Kelly is pitching well... Well, at least until now, looks like he just walked the bases loaded..

So does he get another inning? It's pretty impressive that he's sitting at +\- 96 mph after almost 100 pitches. The break must have done him some good.

Where is everyone and why is this such a dead thread with so much going on in this game? Kelly pitched a great game despite huge control issues. With Hanigan following him, JBJ almost wasn't going to get a real at bat, but he did and singled. Some good fielding plays, but I really like the one when Hanigan had to find the plate with his foot--just in time.

It was a Saturday afternoon game, and for a lot of us in the Northeast, it was the first relatively nice Saturday afternoon we've had in quite a while. Everyone was probably just busy with weekend stuff. For instance, I used this afternoon to do a lot of yardwork. Weeding, sidewalk edging, I mowed the lawn, picked up the dog crap in the backyard, and cleaned the moss off of the roof of the shed. Exciting stuff!

There was a stupid protest over election results here, so I had to catch some of the game on gameday, and then my phone died. I got home just before the Mookie Grand Slam.

So much yardwork... Went to plant sale. Fixed up my shade garden. Lots of mowing and cleanup.

 

Afternoon games are tough to watch when you have two young kids.
