It looked like we had good Buch and then Bad Buch showed up. He had Rasmus looking helpless with 2 breaking balls, and then he gave him a happy zone ball for 4 runs. Damn!

If Vasquez and JBJ don't step it up offensively they may be out of a job. Certainly they should.

 

I agree.. I know they are both great defensively, but their offense thus far has been pathetic in both their young careers, aside from JBJ's ridiculous hot streak last season.

I realize that. We can stipulate that they can hit, overall. But their pitching is next to last in ERA in the league. Hard to win that way on a consistent basis, and their record shows it.

Castillo's looked clueless against MLB pitching. In fact, clueless about most facets of the game.
