Come on Dracul, are you still chumming those waters. You are better than this. You have baffled many with your ********. This s*** with Porcello is your weakest yet. Crank it up a notch or try to be an actual human being for a little while.
waste of time cp, it's just the way it is.

Boyd walks into a bar.

Bartender: "Hey, I thought you were starting tonight."

Boyd: "I was"

Bartender: "Oh sorry, I turned on the game in the 2nd inning."

I love it when starters are taken out without recording an out.

Peter Abraham's article pretty much makes it clear that Porcello insists on throwing a change up too often and is getting clobbered. It isn't a case of the Red Sox trying to change him but rather Porcello throwing what he wants with negative results. Regarding U?, I stopped reading anything he posts and have had him on ignore for long time. He is just a troll who tries to provoke. He adds nothing of substance.

I read that article. It talked a lot about the catching too. The article had a lot of interesting points. I'll try to go find it and post it here.

It talked about how much the change up was being thrown, it also shows the stats for Porcello with Hannigan catching and the others, then shows stats for Porcello throwing to the different Detroit catchers. Porcello's ERA was lower than 4 with Hannigan and a certain catcher on Detroit. His ERA with all other catchers was I think around 4.5. The main statement was about pitch calling and that making Porcello throw his strong pitches at the right time. This year he has been going with a changeup in certain situations, where veteran catchers would make him throw a sinker or something he was doing well at.

All in all, I hope Harrigan catches him next just to see what happens. There is something wrong with Porcello, maybe Pedey should sit with him on the bus and analyze his delivery..........

Changing catchers may have some effect but it may be marginal. If Porcello keeps throwing sinkers which stay up in the zone or if he continues to lack command he'll continue to get clobbered. What is certain is that the Porcello deal and extension is looking like the worst move that BC has ever made. Ironically if Porcello can't turn it around he may be cashing a Red Sox pay check long after Cherrington is gone.
