Lol! They will just use it to pick Trey Ball's kid brother.

A few big power arms available if they can get to top 3.

He's a long way away. When he gets an invite to big league camp I will get excited. If everything goes right for him, he could make it to Fenway during Hillary's second term.

Indeed - but then so are arms drafted into the system (prep arms at least).

It would be nice to get a big college arm that has already hit puberty and is close to the major leagues. I have nothing against having guys like this in the pipeline. They should get as many as they can, but there is so much development left for a kid like that that we might never see him.

I don't disagree - and if there is a good college arm, I'd suspect they'd be game too. Until recently, the draft positions have not been that favorable to find that sort of arm talent (it tends to go pretty quickly) ... I don't know enough about the 2016 crop right now. Clearly the 2015 crop was weak, considering how many college bats (usually your least sexy of the cohorts) went early.

After pitching, finding a place for Ramirez to play is the next biggest problem. Last night was just another example of how bad he is out in left field. He makes Manny look like a gold glover. The amount of runs allowed because of his poor play in left field is much greater then what he has produced at the plate. He is a DH.
