I taught writing and composition so my comprehension is fine. And Santana is not as good a hitter as Victor Martinez. Besides, talking to a scout this morning at 24-Hour Fitness he said the Red Sox to his knowledge have absolutely no interest in Santana. I'm going to assume he knows what he's talking about. And barring any unforeseen circumstances that might be the last I have to hear about it on this board. Anyway, have a nice Thanksgiving and don't overstuff it.

Well, I had a pulse and wasn't pissed off because I saw that by trading Gonzo, CC and Beckett that they were stearing the boat in the right direction. I was excited to see how Ben would construct the team once Larry took a step backwards.

 

I would want Napoli back. Santana can come if they are going to split him between C/1b, but he's not a priority for me. I leave room for Vasquez in 2015.

I use apple devices, iPad, iPhone and MacBook. The predictive is pretty decent but sometimes it doesn't underline with red the wrong spelled words. Sometimes is my fault because my predictive is on Spanish mode and I forget to switch it. Anyway I will try to improve my writing, in fact one of the reasons why I'm here is because I want to practice a little bit my English since nobody here uses it hahaha

That's not limited to Fred and iortiz. I just can't stomach that s***. I have been busy lately, but I will be back to pummel those who need pummeling.

This board shouldn't be about defending or not defending someone. This board should be used only to debate about arguments. Not about people. Sometimes people in this board agree with me and sometimes they don't. I have no problem with that. In fact when I'm wrong I accept it but when I think that my argument is valid I defend it and don't change my position but enrich my criteria with the argument of the poster. It's not big deal for me. As I have said before, mi compadre and I disagree at times but we respect each other and people sometimes do not even notice. I used to argue a lot more when I thought that I was right. Now I let some replays pass since I know that they won't get us anywhere and will end up the discussion in circles.

You haven't missed much, this offseason have been very quiet anyway for us, and IMO it will stay this way this year. My "gallos" seem to me that will end up elsewhere. McCann is in NY already and I really thought that Napoli could be back in Boston uniform, but these days I don't know anymore, from what I've read our FO has been very hesitant about Napoli, seems like he wants 3+ Y.

 

Anyway hopefully they assemble a good 2014 team.

I've been well. I think the FO has very little pressure to make moves this off season. They can ride the wave of euphoria of a World Championship. They just need to put out a competitive crew next season and not gut the roster. I am not a huge Napoli fan, but I can't ignore the fact that his teams always seem to be tough minded fighters and very competitive. I don't think that is an accident. I also don't think he should cost too much to sign considering his hip condition. I think our starting pitching is set. They will tinker around with the pen, get a backup catcher, get an OFer if Ellsbury walks.

I didn't think we'd make the play offs this year so I, like all of us was pleasantly surprised with another WS win. 3 in 10 years? Unreal.

 

But I didn't s*** on the FO or the players like many did. What a waste of time and energy that was.

 

I love this team. Always have and always will. No matter what.
