Thankfully the hack was undone before the game started. Making this quickly now, just in case. Even if we can't post in it, we can't have no gamethread posted!

Webster vs. Johnson.

Win, goddamnit. Win.

Going out to dinner to avoid watching this one. Just hoping the Yankees lose, but they happen to be playing the Orioles.

I'm going to see a flick myself and will miss much of the game. It would certainly be a very pleasant circumstance if Webster could go out there tonight and show why he is rated so high as a pitching prospect. His last two starts were pretty bad but he gets another chance tonight and I don't have to tell anyone what it would mean to the Red Sox if he pitches seven strong innings and helps himself and the team get an important win.

I suppose it does take some amount of courage to watch "Hang Dog" Webster head out to the mound looking like the world is perched on his shoulders with the weight pushing him down to the floor.

Maybe he will be tip top this time out......I would not bet the house on it.

Looks like the Yankees and Orioles are playing one another and the Rays are playing the Tigers. Some pretty good time to pull away from a few teams as a few are guaranteed a loss each day. Also Cincinnati/Texas and Oakland/St. Louis should be good.

One thing I have noticed about the Jays is that at least the way they are playing right now. They are super aggressive at the plate. I don't think it was a good approach against Lester and I doubt it will be a good approach against (10 pitch inning) Webster. Wonder if they will adjust as soon as the 2nd inning. Hopefully not as I think early swings may actually help Webster.

Toronto trying to show it can field worse than the Tigers did. Hey anything you guys can do, we can do worse!

Oh well what Bats does have out there in RF is an absolute cannon and his accuracy is kinda' ridiculous. Ortiz only chance was if the catcher just plan missed him...which he almost did.

Another instance of when intentionally walking Ortiz to get to Napoli doesn't work out. Glad to see Johnson in the mid 70's of pitches after 3. He got lucky with Ortiz getting out at home to end the inning or else it could have been worse than 3-0.
