It looked like Victorino ran over to make the catch, put himself into a great position, missed the fly ball, and took two steps backwards to make it look like he hurt himself instead of looking bad defensively, but ended up knicking his head on the wrong part of the banner.

 

Is it just me, or does it seem like moving Victorino out of center field is causing him a lot of grief? He doesn't have a clue how to play against a wall, and for a player of such top-end defensive value it is concerning.
