I didn't learn those things from Sporcle (other than how to spell Kyrgyzstan) I just needed a place where I can show off my knowledge of the random categories and sporcle gives me that opportunity.

 

I'm currently badge hunting on Sporcle so I need to put more work in. I wish I could use YOTN for any Star Trek quizzes that come my way.

 

The 2004 Red Sox quiz was fun too.

It's a different type of quizzing site. Instead of multiple choice quizzes you have a time limit and you type in the answers so you have to spell it correctly to get credit. I've gotten "Yaz" wrong on so many quizzes just because I can't spell his name to save my life. Same with Coach K.

Salty is going to need to sit in the whirlpool bath for about 5 hours after catching this DH. I would expect that Lavarnway will get called up to catch tomorrow's game.

Say what you will about Salty (I hate his K's, defense is weak, and he doesn't get on base at a high enough clip), but the guy is tough as nails.

Catching is tough. You have to respect the toughness of anyone who straps on that gear and goes behind the plate.

And in Aceves defense his was at like 75 pitches through 5 before the rain delay, so he likely would have been able to give us another 1 to 2 innings if it weren't for that. I was pleasantly surprised with both of their performances tonight.

Wow Farrell gave Bailey the 9th. I could not disagree with this move any more.

 

Doubront has absolutely cruised, and Bailey has been on struggle street. We have a 1 run lead. Terrible decision.
