And Tazawa gets the save, going TWO INNINGS, something Papelbon is rarely able to do, proving once again that repeating the same wrong idea over and over again does not make it true.

Wow that was a hell of goal to win the Bruins game

Rodney stuck that pitch right were WMB could hurt him

I've always been against paying Papelbon Mo-money. But honestly, if he's available at 10 million per year from the Phills, why not?

Both Boston teams pick up a game on New York teams tonight. Brutal strike zone from Joe West tonight. Ever since Doubront stepped towards the dugout in the first inning on a pitch called a ball, West's strike zone got really small. He's such an unprofessional hack.

That depends on how he's pitching and Bailey's health.

To this day, Papelbon is opearating with career lows in FB velocity (92.4) and K/9 (6.48). There may be something there.

What a big hit for Middlebrooks. Have to be patient with this guy. He went through an awful stretch but his physical skills as a hitter are there. He has such a level swing and gets his hands through the zone so fast. Still has a lot to learn about pitch selection obviously.

Soaking up the tears at a rays forum and I saw an interesting stat- apparently Tampa's staff has blown a lead in 30 straight games now.

That doesn't seem possible. They held onto the 5-3 lead in game 1 of the series didn't they?

Yeah, but I figured that that much porn would slow anybody's computer down.

LOL in the early days of internet, surfing porn could corrupt your computer into total dysfunction. Things are a lot more stable now.

It mightve been that have trailed or blown a lead in 30 straight. Still hilarious.

Rodney has reverted to what he was before last season. Tampa thought they could role the dice with him again. They have farnsworth (another inconsistent guy) in reserve if Rodney pitches himself out of the role.

Very exciting to pull this one out. Hopefully, Middlebrooks is turning the corner.

Professor Farnsworth has a 6.82 ERA and 1.86 WHIP, so i highly doubt they'd replace Rodney with him. Peralta or McGee seem like more reliable options.

McGee has an 8.80 ERA and 1.89 WHIP. He even has Farnsworth beat.

Well even when Will is going badly he makes you pay for leaving the ball up or on the inner half. That is why I want him to keep away from that s*** on the outer third or outer third going away. Foul that s*** off or take it but don't for God sake swing at it. I want Pedey going the opposite way and Vic and Nava and even Ortiz going the opposite way. I want Will crushing that stuff up or in. He just does too much damage with that stuff inside or up to worry about trying to make him into the kind of hitter that sprays the ball around.

Yeah but he's actually been pitching very good after a brutal stretch to start the year. Farnsworth has flat-out sucked ass.
