No FO does. The problem is that they seemed to follow a big name non-move with a desperate big name FA signing or trade and it backfired every time. They bucked that trend this offseason.

Considering the downward spiral Teixeira has been in the last four years, the Sox actually dodged a bullet with him, then promptly jumped in front of another one in the form of Gonzo's balky shoulder.

 

We have avoided it since offing Agons but there has been a fair amount of big 1st baseman suckage the last couple years.

I am inclined to agree with you here. Interesting that just everything was going great for awhile and everything has turned south at once.....really not though...you still have to say that Lester, buch and Lackey and even Dempster have done pretty well. They have not fallen just completely apart. Could not expect them to go as strong as they were going for very long.

How many errors does Middlebrooks have this season?

I am truly disappointed in our approach to the offense. Seems to me that we have lost our way with few exceptions.

Drew also seems to be hit to be hitting better. Vic is still great, would like to see him at lead off.

How many errors does Middlebrooks have this season?

 

 

I believe that's his 5th. He had 9 errors in 72 games last season. Both put him around a .945-.950 fielding percentage. If only he had a matching OPS.
