Is there a game going on tonight? With all this chaos, I'd assume they'd probably postpone the game, right? I care more about the safety of the people in Boston so I wouldn't mind if they cancel it. I'm just curious.
If the Red Sox game gets canceled because of these two jackasses, the second guy should get beheaded in front of Ted Williams statue. What happened to not letting the terrorists win? We let 2 jerkoffs (and that is what they are-- two jerkoff kids) shut down a major American City for an entire day. Where is Jack Bauer when you need him?

Source?

I haven't been to find anything about it.

Bruins game also cancelled?

All I've seen is game is in jeopardy, I don't think it's canceled (yet, anyway).

I get where you're coming from. I personally don't think we're letting them win. If it gets cancelled, it's not fear of someone getting hurt, but rather playing it safe. Eventually they will catch this moron. Since Jack Bauer is a fictional character, you'd have to convince Kiefer Sutherland to do the job.

Kieffer is a useless drunk. Screw that. I want this game played. Get me a light tactical automatic rifle 4 - 30rd mags), some tear gas cannisters and walkie talkie, and I'll volunteer to get him.;)

I'm a big supporter of the right to bear arms and think you have every right to own such a rifle but the idea of you marching around Fenway hunting a terrorist makes me kind of uneasy.

I would do it only after being properly deputized by law enforcement. I do know how to handle a firearm quite responsibly. Only Yankee fans would be in danger of getting caught in any crossfire. I might use a couple of them as human shields if things get tough.

WEEI announcing that both Bruins and Sox games are cancelled for tonight. Traffic has just started moving at a snails pace around Boston. Watertown is basically locked down. Nothing is or has been moving there.

When I heard the game was cancelled Ted, I got pissed off and had to change my clothes. What a pisser. I had one of my favorite Red Sox outfits my wife had gotten me the past year through the team gift store----red and navy Red Sox tennis shoes with whites sox and the Red Sox logo, Red Sox Nation tee shirt and matching red shorts with a navy belt with a nice Red Sox buckle. I was dressed to kill tonight--very wierd for a plus 70 year old, I know. Then they let his slimy prick close down the entire town and postpone the game. When they catch this dickweed they ought to be able to tell everyone that he was killed "trying to escape" with about 50 slugs rattling his rotten body.

f*** you fart face, you miserable loser. I really don't give damn what a turd like you thinks, you rotten piece of s***. Tell me dickweed, did your parents have any kids that lived? Your miserable missive to me just proves beyond a doubt that you're a loser, always have been and always will be. I think your Ex would totally agree with that.

I would also advise you that it will be tit for tat from here on in. Better not communicate with me unless you want a war, and worry about not losing another job.

You haven't posted since 5:22 am on Tuesday and that was a vicious post against a TalkSox member.

You disappear for almost 3 days from the forum as the rest of us express our anger, fear and grief over this weeks event in Boston and you return just to attack another TalkSox member. What a misanthrope!! You can't keep a job or get along with anyone apparently. Seriously, I think you are psychotic. You are just an angry internet coward. GFY, you miserable prick.

...Yeah, what *******s. What they really should have done is not told anyone that two armed and possibly bomb-vested lunatics were running around the city and let life go on as normal. How dare they disrupt your night with their ridiculous notions about "public safety".

I can understand your anger though, after 9/11 I remember walking around New York City cursing the cowardly sons of bitches who closed down their hot dog stands. I mean, 3000 dead Americans and a couple collapsed skyscrapers and suddenly everyone's all "lockdown". I wrote a letter to my congressman about how that stupid city let a little bit of carcinogenic dust choking the air deprive me of a quick lunch. I never heard back.

Fart face? Did you pick up that particular insult during arts and crafts hours, or during snack time?

911 was a bit different, Youk. For a couple of days after 911, there were lots of rumors and several evacuations. One or two nights later the Empire State Building was evacuated and the people were told to head toward one of the rivers. That was pretty scary and disconcerting. There was palpable fear of additional attacks. Fighter jets were flying over head night and day. Baseball shutdown across the country out of mourning and respect for the dead who hadn't even begun to be identified. However, the city remained open and mainly operational. NYers went to work the next day, and we volunteered our time after work and on weekends.

I understand that, my point was, I agree with mvp, though I tried to do so without being mean. I do sarcastic much better than mean. All I was saying that complaining about your outfit being wasted when the reason directly relates to capturing two deranged murderers who have already bombed a large gathering of people is, at best, silly, and at worst, staggeringly self-absorbed.

Ted, I probably came down to his level by even answering that jerk, but he is one of two posters on this board who have decided to take aim at me and I'm not going to stand for it. My post was about as tongue in cheek as I could manage and maybe a smilie might have helped. That we would attack me makes me understand why he has been a failure in every place he's been. There was no cause for him to do that, but I almost want to kick myself for bringing myself down to his miserably low level.

MVP is not sarcastic or funny. He is just a prick who gets his ya yas attacking people. He hasn't been here for two days, no discussion of these troubling events, nothing. He just drops in to call Fred an ******* and me a slimy prick. If that misanthrope and coward wants to go down that road, he had better be prepared to have his ******* opened after every one of his posts.

To be fair, this could describe a hefty percentage of our membership.

Fred, if you were crawling on your belly in the gutter, you would be standing tall compared to that miserable prick.;)

It was tongue in cheek Youk, nothing more. I was attempting to add a little humor where there has been nothing but tragedy for the past few days. I knew mvp wouldn't understand, that little prick, but sorry you didn't get it either. Ass for that guy, he and one other poster have made it a cottage industry to come after me with a lot of mean spirited ******** and I'm not going to take it from either one of them.

I don't like to go toe to toe with anyone on this board but I'm not going to allow myself to be a pinata for some dipshit who wasn't even on the board at all when all this violence went down. His point was not to defend what the city's leaders were doing but to throw a bomb at me. I hope you now get it.
