Dempster being a boss.

I was lead to believe our pitchers 3-5 "sucked."

You're telling me that might not be the case?

Just don't tell me Victorino was a good signing. We all know that was dumb, right? That guy is completely useless!!!

In all seriousness, Victorino can do a lot of things. He's looking like he could actually be the best signing of the off-season.

No love for Uehara? Napoli has been good so far.

Still think Victorino may slump a little and wind up hitting 270 or so. He's solid defensively. Hope they keep him in RF the next 3 years.

I'm assuming Uehara will hit the DL eventually. Napoli doesn't have the impact on D/baserunning that Victorino does.

Napoli's been good thus far? His line coming into his 0/2 performance thus far was .217/.234/.413/.647. I don't know about his defense but even if it was gold glove caliber I don't think it'd salvage his current .208 average.

I just want to point out that, as of this moment, as I type, the 4-5-6-7-8-9 hitters in the Red Sox lineup have the following batting lines:

Napoli: .208/.224/.396

Saltalamacchia: .241/.333/.448

Middlebrooks: .227/.255/.545

Drew: .071/.235/.071

Gomes: .167/.348/.222

Bradley: .103/.278/.138

That, my friends, is almost unfathomably bad. I know it's early and all, but still. Holy smokes.
