I thought Nava had a decent game last night and while he did see his numbers fall off from mid-june to ASB his numbers were bound to fall of and he hit a stretch of tough pitchers, some able to overpower him.

I am so sick of seeing Ortiz running into outs. Just for crying out loud STOP!

I hear you. First inning and we've already made our first gaffe.

Beckett needs to be gone and Ortiz running into outs looks worse and worse when you are struggling to win games.

Should be 1st and 3rd' date=' 2 outs if the umpire gets his head out of his ass.[/quote']Should be out of the inning if he could catch with that huge glove. Missed calls are excuses. This jackass is s***ing on himself again.

Will giant iPads ever replace umpires??

I know they bring that human aspect into the game but 100% correct strikes&balls would be amazing!! f*** the umps.

That ball was scorched back at Beckett. I'm not making excuses for him, he should have had it. But if you're going to blame Beckett for not catching a line drive at his face, you can't let the ump off the hook for not ringing up Zobrist on the obvious swing. As soon as I saw it from the pitchers view, I knew he swung. It was an easy call.

It wasn't back at his face. It was well off to the side and he should have had it. He also should not have given up 4 hits and a hit batter. The guy just s*** on himself. It's not the fault of one missed strike call.

Nava shouldn't be expected to hit .350. He was bound to correct some. If he gets the chance, he'll come back up to .290-300. But he won't get the chance.

You think Trout is going to hit .350? :)
