And Pedroia said he hasn't felt as good as he does right now since April. All of those games without the big players makes you really appreciate them when they come back, or it does for me anyway.

Well you're guaranteed to have Ross, Crawford, and Ellsbury. Personally, I say keep Nava and Sweeney, but that really limits you when you face LHP.

 

Lillibridge isn't exactly stellar vs LHP either, but his versatility will probably keep him over one of Sweeney or Nava.

 

Sweeney may be the kind of a piece that the Sox use as a complimentary piece in a deal for a SP, though.

Nava is a switch hitter so he can take some righty ABs. I'd move Sweeney and bring up Pods.

Nava has a .531 OPS vs LHP. I would rather see Sweeney vs LHP than Nava vs LHP.

The wild card is probably Kalish for next year. If he comes around, then I doubt the Sox will have much use for Sweeney. The Sox have been betting on Kalish for a long time now so I doubt they are going to stop now.
