Kidding. But he feels like it with that 3-up 3-down inning

I should probably take a couple days off the board like Fred did, because the ******* explosion that's about to take over the website will be impossible to contain. s*** will be flying everywhere.

Peace.

The difference between Red Sox fans and Yankees fans. If this was Boston leading in the Bronx, it would be half empty by now, along with a mass exodus from YES in the tri-state area.

I'm afraid to read the thread. I'm just going to go ahead and say our bullpen isn't the best but it's not that bad either. Today was terrible and unacceptable.

"Not that bad either"...?

"I tell it like it is" ...?

Solid argument.

Arguing with a blind homer is clearly the route to take. This team has massive holes. A handful of god awful contracts. You are banking on guys as 3rd and C replacements yet these guys have not proven they can be serviceable major leaguers.

Our pitching staff is a train wreck from starters to the bullpen.

Beckett is making 15.75 mill per over the next 2 years. He is being paid like an ace but has been inconsistent over the past 4 years, alternating solid years with bad years.

Lester is solid but his numbers from 2 years ago, to last year , to this year have gotten worse.

After that its a heap of mess. Lackey is making 15.25 per over this year and the next two. Matsuzaka's s*** contract comes off the books thankfully this year. You have no idea if Bucholz is gonna be as good as he looked 4 years ago.

Our whole pen is beyond awful. Our best hitter is 36 and who knows how much longer we have out of him. The only players that aren't question marks are Pedroia and A Gone. There are a whole lot more question marks than their are answers within this organization.

If you can't see that, then I do not know what to tell you.

He does look good, not just cause he got actual outs but he could be yout answer to the closer role.

Also Big Papi lost weight and is in better shape. That's something right?

Could be worse, could be sat at home trying to wind people up on the internet. I mean what sad stroker would ever do that eh?

This 10000000 times.

So that gives you the right to pass your opinion as fact?

You're the biggest hypocrite on this board. You pass your opinion as fact, talk about others not "letting you share your opinion". But when others try to express themselves by trying to shoot down something you don't agree with, you pull this ********.

And actually, seriously. I should take a break from this board. People like you with the superiority complex really really piss me off.

Calm down everyone has an opinion and take out frustration in one way or another but we all want the same thing

Changes need to happen. There's still plenty of time to salvage the season.

A loss is a loss. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Etc.,

The season doesn't swing based on a blown 9-0 lead over the course of a few hours. That said, its just a really depressing loss. I will be interested to see how Valentine addresses this loss after the game.

Amazing that its only April and Sox fans have come to realization that the season is over and you're just playing out the rest of the season to finish the schedule. 2013 might be better though so chin up guys.

How fun was the postseason for you guys last yr??? Your right, we didnt make it.... But you guys played 5 more gms than us???

No hon, they are the worst right now. They blew a 9 run lead. We have a "blow"pen, not a bullpen.:(

When a team goes into "rebuilding" mode... They dump all their big contracts for high-level prospects.... So by definition' date=' your saying at the least we trade, gonzo, crawford, Ortiz, petey,Lester, beckett etc.... For prospects?? I'm glad your not the GM[/quote']

Way to completely turn my words around. I never said we need to go into rebuilding, I am saying we are closer to being that type of team than to contending.

And teams with the financial backing that the red sox have don't completely rebuild. Small market teams do, not a team like the Boston Red Sox.

Fact.

Yankees fans = glory supporters.

We could have finished in last place last year in the standings and it still wouldn't have been as bad as the epic September Sox collapse that ALL baseball fans will remember forever.
