Lionbush's Achievements

  1. Movement is key in the UK especially on hot humid days. Work out how to move the ball and you will be fine.
  2. If Wright can get his movement under control here he could be the ideal pitcher.
  3. He wasn’t bad. He just can’t adjust to pitching in the UK. Neither can Tanaka either
  4. Pitchers struggling with UK conditions as I said earlier. Ball looks slow.
  5. UK guy here. For anyone who knows a little cricket then they will know how unique the atmosphere is here and how it can affect ball movement or even kill ball movement. Reverse swing is a prime example and it is why swing bowlers can thrive in England. The pitchers here can’t adjust to it. It’s making them look bad.
  6. Hi all, Just looking for a little info. Coming over from the UK the 8th - 12th June for my 10 yr wedding anniversary. I am hoping to catch one of the Rangers games on the 10th/11th. However it looks like the tickets are not released yet. When do these games normally go on sale as the early months up to May and September games seem to have been released. Or have I missed the sale? Staying just down the way from Fenway so I am very much looking forward to visiting. Thanks for any help in advance!
  7. Right, trip booked! I'm coming over the 4th till the 8th April. How far in advance to game tickets go on sale? It will prob be either the brewers on sat or the rangers on Monday. There are 3rd party sites selling tickets now, but I'm reluctant to use them. Cheers to anyone who can help.
  8. Football Manager is massive in the UK. It's probably a big contributor to divorce statistics over here! Personally, I'm not an American football fan, I prefer ice hockey. But all American sports have a good following over here in the uk. The MLB doing the opening day tour is a good thing, and I hope it comes to the uk at some point. Being 35 yrs old I'm a bit old to start playing baseball, but I have started playing slowpitch softball here in Scotland. There are tournaments all across the uk every year for that.
  9. Cheers. Probably coming the weekend around the 6th April. The Brewers/Rangers are in town. Since I'm in the uk not sure if tickets will be sent or if I will pick them up. What's the normal procedure for buying tickets, has anyone here bought them from overseas before?
  10. No trophy presentation on mlb tv wtf.
  11. Does Bo Jackson get a ring? He f***ing should. After the amount of times I have seen him on my screen tonight. 3 outs. Let's go.
  12. Looking forward to seeing Fenway next year. Some ground, it really is. Reminds me of Anfield in a lot of ways.
