The White Sox Tigers Yankees are all opening presidents and here we were sucking our thumbs signing and traded for guys like Duckworth and Miller then releasing or non tendering them?

Have to be down with that. Never heard of Rizzo Kelly has a big arm but so does alot of guys. Outside of Kalish who I'd trade I think the farm is overrated.

AGon and Heath Bell? I don't like it when they start adding to a deal. It becomes too complex and it starts to fall apart. Adding Bell to the deal probably means 2 more prospects from our side, bringing it to 5 prospects. There will be a ton of haggling over which prospects get included.

Hopefully this AGon deal finally gets done and over with. Would Rather send Anderson over Rizzo. Landing a proven guy like Gonzalez is worth it. Adding Bell would not hurt my feelings. Yes you haggle over more prospects. We pulled it off pretty well to real in Beckett and Lowell not to many years ago. I doubt that happens now that Paps has been tendered a contract. Certainly hope Kalish is not involved with this at all.

I really like Heath Bell, had him on my fantasy team last year. He had a great year last year and posted a 1.93 ERA and recorded 47 saves. He has always been solid in SD and he has only been closing for them for 2 years, he probably wouldn't mind not closing in Boston if it came to that. This would definitely upgrade our bullpen quite a bit.

"Multiple teams besides [the] Red Sox," including the Cubs, are interested in the Padres slugger, tweets Ken Rosenthal of FOXSports.com. This isn't the first time we've heard about Chicago's interest in Gonzalez, and the Cubs' search for a big-hitting first baseman may have intensified now that Adam Dunn has signed with the crosstown rival White Sox.

 

Two big obstacles stand in the way of a Cubs/Padres deal: the Cubs' ability to provide the blue-chip prospects that San Diego desires in any Gonzalez trade, and whether the Cubs can afford the long-term extension that Gonzalez wants after 2011. One obviously impacts the other, since it would be foolish for the Cubs to move several prospects for just one season of Gonzalez. With the Carlos Silva and Kosuke Fukudome contracts coming off the books after this year, Chicago has about $63MM committed to their 2012 payroll.

I'd like to make a couple points:

 

1) There's a difference between anger and utter uncontrollable annoyance, and number two is what GoBruins gives me.

 

2) He's a dumbass, plain and simple. If he were funny (he's not) i'd like him better, or if he was really innocent and lacked several IQ points (well he does, but not that much) like suns, i could stand him.

 

3) None of this really matters now because regardless of his blatant stupidity and outright trolling, nothing can erase the huge smile and raging boner i just got from the possibility of acquiring Gonzales and Bell. If this happens, i'm nominating GoBruins for poster of the year!
