No crap.

Not a huge Mike Cameron fan. Nothing personal, I just feel he was the wrong solution for the wrong problem.

Posted

Drew, Ellsbury, Hermida, Beckett, Okajima.

Players I do like -- all the home-grown players(that includes Delcarmen but not Halle Berry), Dice-k, Lackey, Scutaro, Lowell.

Kevin Cash.

Ever wondered what the average person would look like if they were to hit in the majors for just one AB? Hes made a career of it.

Beckett too. A friend of mine was once a groundskeeper for the sox. One day while warming up, a tarp was still on the pitching mound covering it from th rubber back because it had just finished raining. Beckett sees the tarp in the bullpen and turns to my buddy the groundskeeper and says in his ignorant texas accent "Whys this f***ing tarp still covering my f***ing mound". Hes a typical bully type. He throws at guys heads against s***** teams like Cleveland and starts a bench clearing incident and acts all tough, but then against the Yankees and Rangers...two playoff teams....they light his ass up and he hides in the dugout in the fetal position. Hes not an ACE, hes a coward.

Drew, Cameron, Martinez , and now also Lackey has been quite disappointing. Dice-K is another big one. I don't dislike Okajima or Wakefield, But I think there time is done.

John Lackey is at the top of my list. I agree with the Youker. This is also due to the Fantasy stress he's caused me this year...

Also - Okajima. Despite the success he's had in the past, I can't get over the fact that he doesn't even look at his catcher as he throws his pitches. It's bizarre to me, not a fan.

Don't like: Pedroia, Papelbon, Lackey

VMart was on this list, but rubbing Beltre's head has made me a fan, but only as a duo.

You don't like Pedroia? I almost forgot he is returning today.

Yeah, I know it's kind of weird. His personality just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.

Beckett again.

Way too much of an arrogant pompous *******. Hey Joshy, it was tolerable when you were at least earning some of your salary. You suck, keep your mouth shut.

I dislike Drew. I'm annoyed how often he has a "hamstring" issue. Suck it the f*** up, bitch. I know you don't want to play. But ya gotta. You get paid to. Not much of a fan of Tek, really. Nor Cameron. Never really been much of a fan of Dice-K, and he's not really pitched well once, yet. He's had respectable outings, but nothing I would tip my hat to.

I do like Pedroia, and Youk and Beckett, Bucholz and probably my favorite is Lester.

And god, I miss Manny like no one's business.

We playing word assoiciaton? haha my word i maybe. But serously though he is not the best pitcher but that callandor dude said he never seen Dice-K pitch well.

I've never really seen a Dice-K outing where after the game I was like "Man, that was some good pitching". I've seen games where I was like "Oh, he's getting better" or "Oh, if he expands on that"or "Thank god its over" but he's as of yet to have an outing that amazed me. I just want one.

Oh, I think its remarkable how few of runners that get into scoring position actually come around to score and that year he was virtually untouchable when he had runners on, that was special. But he allowed so many runners into scoring position, over taxed the bullpen and time after time looked like he was getting lucky to get out of jams (maybe he was lucky, maybe not). He wouldn't be on that mound for us if he didn't cost us $100 million.

You either have a ridiculously high standard or are a very casual fan who hasn't been paying attention. He's thrown some very good games and looked good in them.

What has been frustrating is his failure to continue the good.

You don't come in 4th for Cy Young with mediocre stuff. He's becoming one of the most underrated players in baseball.
